Please pick a wildlife management issue of interest to you and share a YouTube video or other resource to share with the class. Ideally, you’ll post something that shows management efforts that are based on science—not just a video of about monarch butterfly behavior, for example, but a video of a milkweed habitat created to help maintain monarch butterfly populations.

In your post, tell us about the wildlife problem that the management effort is trying to solve–how did the species get in trouble and what are some key factors limiting its population and natural recovery?– and how people are trying to solve the problem(s). Is this a unique effort or part of a state, national, or international program? What are the long-term prospects of the management program and the wildlife affected? Also briefly explain why this species is in need of management. Which factors has contributed to a declining population? (You don’t have to answer every question here–just present a clear 2-3 well-developed paragraphs on some of these issues for your video.)
